In an age of fragmentation, anxiety, hostility and superficiality, the Peace Prayer of St. Francis urges us to go deep into the heart of gospel love, embracing every relationship with a spirit of elegance, integrity and compassion. The transformative beauty of this ecumenical prayer will be reflected upon line by line, using stories, music, guided imagery, and meditation.

During a directed retreat, a person meets with a spiritual director daily to reflect on God’s presence and movement in one’s life as revealed in prayer and the events and relationships of one’s life, and the response to God that is being made by the retreatant. The director may offer suggestions such as prayer forms, spiritual practices, Scripture or reading materials to help support and deepen the person’s awareness of and response to God. Every effort will be made to honor your preference for a director, but we ask that you name an alternate. If no choice is indicated, a director will be chosen for you. The directed retreat is a silent retreat.
