This workshop is designed for persons (professionals/volunteers/family /friends) who are engaged in the many ways of caring for others in the health care world, and who seek a creative pause from the pulls and tensions of the commitments of everyday life. From a reflective place, all gathered will have the opportunity to experience the giving and receiving of the stories our lives tell. What are we called to do? Who are we called to be? Themes of loss, anxiety, loneliness, changes in self esteem and longing unfold possibilities for joy, hope, peace, and belonging. Connection through stories offers new ways of being—new ways to re-store the sacred into the real everyday-ness of our personal and professional lives.

Please bring your journal if you have one and wear comfortable clothing. There will be a chance to walk the labyrinth, experience the Peace Garden, and/or find a bench by the bridge and pond.
